The direction of CEAGESP-SP realized that an important number of children and teenagers frequented the place to be subjected to hard work, prostitution and begging. That is why on March 31st of 1998 was born NOSSA TURMA, a place where hope in form of leisure education offered the rescue of childhood and citizenship of those girls, boys and teenagers.

The beginning of the organization was possible thanks to two different projects: the first one was a small soccer school. The other one was the support center NOSSA TURMA, which provided care to 194 children and teenagers.

But It was on May of 2001, when the Support Center NOSSA TURMA is formalized and becomes into the “Associação de Apoio à Infância e Adolescência Nossa Turma” ( Child and Teenage support association) NOSSA TURMA.
